Welcome to the official website of the Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables, Florida. We hope that one day soon, we’ll be able to greet you personally when you join us for Holy Mass.

Soon approaching its 95th year of service, the Church of the Little Flower is among the most beautiful churches in South Florida. Located in the heart of the residential section of Coral Gables, one of South Florida’s oldest and most prominent cities, the Church of the Little Flower really can’t be missed.

Just down the street from the historical Biltmore Hotel, the church is known for its architectural beauty, its marble sanctuary, and the magnificent reredos which makes up the sanctuary backdrop. The Latin phrase etched above the glorious cross, “Ego sum lux mundi,” is a direct quote of Jesus found in John’s Gospel: “I am the Light of the World.” Each evening until the break of day, an illuminated cross, seen high atop the exterior of the Spanish Renaissance dome of the church, nightly announces our faith in Christ to all who approach.

In addition to all those who come to COTLF from all over the world to celebrate their marriage, baptize their children, and worship the Lord while on vacation, our 3,200 parish families can attest to the great beauty of our liturgies, the vibrancy of our community life, and the ready welcome given to those who join us on the journey of faith.
