Over the next two weeks, daily Mass attendees will note the arrival of a flock of “lost sheep” returning to the sanctuary. As is our local custom, following the celebration of First Penance, each of our STS and Rel.Ed. students places a small cotton ball sheep by the image of Christ, the Good Shepherd, as a sign and symbol of their return to the Lord through the Grace of Penance. As you see these hundreds of sheep gathered around the altar, we pray they will inspire you to return to confession this Lenten season.
Confessions are available every Saturday morning, from 8:30am to 10:00am. A Lenten Penance Service will be held during Holy Week, but don’t wait until then to receive God’s Healing Mercy!
