Planning Your Visit

We are delighted to welcome you to the Church of the Little Flower for this historic visit of the relics of our patroness, Saint Therese, as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of her Canonization and the celebration of our Parish Centennial!

Arrival

As you arrive, please begin your visit at our Old Church, Msgr. Comber Hall, located to the south of the main church building. There you will have the opportunity to check in with Relic Visit volunteers, browse the Pauline Books & Media display, and learn more about St. Therese before making your way over to the church where the relics will be located.

Queueing in Comber Hall

Relic Visit volunteers will be situated throughout campus to direct visitors upon their arrival. During peak visit hours, the line will form inside Comber Hall. Guests will then make their way down the interior sidewalk towards the front of the church where they will be directed to enter via one of our two doorways on either side of the main entrance.

The side doors on the North and South sides of the church building will be available only for handicap and clergy access. Relic Visit volunteers will be able to assist you as needed. Otherwise, please follow the main line towards the front of the church.

During non-peak and overnight hours when there may be shorter lines, visitors may be able to head directly to the church without having to queue in the Hall first. Please begin your visit at the Old Church, however, walking in the footsteps of our founding parishioners who worshipped in that space for the first 25 years of our parish!

Inside the Church

Once inside the church, visitors will make their way up either of the two side aisles, approaching the reliquary which will be situated at the head of the main aisle, directly in front of the Altar rail gate. Visitors will have an opportunity to briefly pause by the reliquary, to touch medals, flower petals, and other devotionals against the plexiglass covering before making their way down the center aisle. Visitors wishing to remain for longer periods of prayer may do so in the pews down the central nave. The main doors of the church will be the primary exit for all relics visitors.

Before departing, visitors may add to “St. Theresa’s Little Wall,” a special display being organized by our Parish Youth Ministry in the vestibule of the church, directly across from the Altar of St. Therese.

Please note: Restrooms will only be available in Comber Hall.

Any visitors wishing to pass by the reliquary again may do so by rejoining the line in Comber Hall.
